St. James’ Youth Club is a club for young people in Year 5 and up. We run on a Thursday evening, 6:30pm to 8pm at St. James’s Hall, The Grove, Bridgnorth where we have games, competitions, crafts, cooking, events and trips. Our vision is provide an opportunity for the young people to meet with friends, gain new experiences, learn new techniques and provide a safe environment for them. We go on trips once a term and revolve around the young people’s choices as well as attending events. We organise a programme every term full of different opportunities that our young volunteers and helpers contribute to and encourage as much involvement as possible from them. We provide a young volunteers programme whereby hours are clocked, activities are planned and implemented and responsibilities are shared. We currently have 3 young volunteers and 4 adult volunteers who help support the running of our group.
